02Data we process

Through the contact form: your name, email address, company name (optional), the topic you choose and the content of your message. To prevent misuse of the form: the date of submission and your IP address.

When you contact us directly by email, phone, WhatsApp or Instagram: the contact details and correspondence you share on that channel.

• To review your enquiry and reply to you.
• To conduct discussions about a possible collaboration.
• To prevent misuse of the form and protect the security of the website.

04Legal basis and method of collection

Your data is collected electronically through the contact form on the website and through our direct contact channels. It is processed on the basis of KVKK Article 5(2)(c), as it is directly related to the establishment of a contract, and Article 5(2)(f), as it is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.

05Transfer

Your personal data is not sold or shared for marketing purposes. It is stored on the servers of the providers that host the website and email service, and is shared with authorised public institutions only where there is a legal obligation.

06Retention

Messages sent through the form are kept for as long as needed to conclude your enquiry, and for no longer than two years; after this period they are deleted automatically.

07Cookies

dernekand.com does not use cookies to track visitors, or for advertising or analytics. A single essential session cookie is used only in the site’s administration panel to keep the administrator signed in; it is never set for visitors.

08Social media links and embedded content

The site contains links to Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and WhatsApp. When you follow such a link you leave dernekand.com, and that platform’s own privacy policy applies; these platforms may process data on servers outside Türkiye.

Where Instagram posts are shown embedded on the site, your browser connects to Instagram’s servers when the page opens: your IP address and browser information are sent to Meta, and Meta may use its own cookies. In that case your data is transferred abroad.

The site’s own videos are served from the dernekand.com server and do not pass data to third parties.

09Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 you have the right to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed, and request information about it;
• learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly;
• know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad;
• request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
• request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7;
• request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred;
• object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis;
• claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
